About me

Education

I received my B.A. in anthropology from Texas A&M University in 2013 as a mentee of Dr. Michael Alvard and Dr. Jeff Winking. I later received my M.A. under the advisement of Dr. John Q. Patton & Dr. Brenda Bowser at Cal State Fullerton in 2017. Now I'm in the evolutionary anthropology PhD program at Arizona State University working with Dr. Kim Hill.

Research

My current research investigates the connections between kids socio-cognitive development, alliance building, status competition, and social learning from a life history theoretical perspective. I explore these topics among the Achuar and Sápara in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
