Field work

Since 2015 I've been working with indigenous Achuar and Sápara communities in the territory of Nación Sápara del Ecuador (N.A.S.E) in Pastaza, Ecuador.

My work has occurred primarily in the community of Conambo, the long-term field site of John Patton and Brenda Bowser.

My dissertation research ideas, in part, rely upon their unique longitudinal dataset of change in individual social status and alliance relationships over time.

I will continue to work in this area for the foreseeable future. Though, I've had many impactful experiences conducting/assisting with ethnographic research projects around the world, such as in the Caribbean and Southern Baja California.
